Canon Printer Kit Experience

I bought the Canon Edible Printer Kit. Ordering was easy on their site. Shipping took about 5 days to reach me in California. Everything arrived intact. Setup instructions were clear enough. The edible ink cartridges worked fine right away. I had a question about storing the Icing Sheets, so I used their chat support. They responded fast and gave good advice. The print quality on the frosting sheets is quite good for my home bakery needs. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Love the Edible Glitter

I just got some Edible Glitter for my daughter's cupcakes, and it's fantastic! It adds such a pretty sparkle. The shipping was super fast, too, which was great because I needed it for a party. The glitter itself is easy to use and really makes the desserts pop. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Definitely buying more soon!

Got my edible markers

So I needed some edible markers for decorating cookies, and I found them here. The site was pretty simple to use, which was nice. Placed my order, and they got here in like, under a week, which felt pretty quick. They worked exactly how I wanted them to. No complaints. I'd definitely buy from them again when I run out of these.

Good Icing Sheets

I ordered some Premium Icing Sheets. They arrived quickly and were well-packaged. Product quality was good. Used them for a birthday cake. No issues.

do they ever do free shipping codes? trying to save a few bucks on my next order.

J June 1 month ago

Yeah, sometimes they do! Keep an eye on their homepage or sign up for their emails. I've gotten free shipping for orders over a certain amount a couple of times.

D Dana C. 1 month ago

I think I saw one for free shipping over $75 a while back. They pop up, especially around holidays.

hey, anyone know if their edible inks are actually safe? like, FDA approved or anything, or just some random food coloring?

R Ryan B. 2 months ago

Yeah, they're legit. I remember seeing somewhere on their site that all their inks are FDA compliant.

D Derek 1 month ago

They totally are. Used them for my kid's birthday cake and no issues, plus the colors were super vibrant.

are ink4cakes printers better than like, TastyPrint's? or is it pretty much the same gear?

A Anna Okafor 2 months ago

Mostly the same printers, Canon or Epson rebranded. The real difference is usually their bundle deals and customer service. I found Ink4Cakes had better options for beginners.

T Tom 2 months ago

I've used both. Ink4Cakes often has better prices on the consumables, like the sheets and ink refills, which adds up.

thinking of getting one of the printer kits. do they actually offer a warranty on those things, or am I on my own if it breaks in a month?

R Ryan 1 month ago

I think printers usually come with a manufacturer's warranty, so you'd probably deal with Canon or Epson directly if something went wrong.

J James 1 month ago

Mine came with a warranty card in the box. Pretty standard stuff, but definitely check the specific printer you're looking at.

Anyone tried returning edible ink? got extra cartridges last time and don't need them now. is it a hassle?

T Todd Okafor 2 months ago

Returns for open cartridges can be tricky with any company, because, well, it's food grade stuff. But if they're sealed, it should be fine. I'd check their policy on opened items.

D Dana G. 2 months ago

yeah returns were easy, did it last month. just make sure they're unopened, as the other user said.

how long does shipping usually take to like, California? need some icing sheets for an order next week.

A Andre Foster 2 months ago

For California, it's usually pretty quick, like 3-5 business days max. You can probably choose faster shipping too if you're in a real rush.

F Faith K. 2 months ago

I'm in SoCal, usually get my stuff within 4 days. They're pretty good about getting orders out.
